Government Imposed ‘Equitable Requirements’ in the Job Market
The government bailout to AIG was in the spotlight when the executives received outrageous bonuses, after accepting the money the government had stolen from the poor to give to the rich. Citizens were outraged, so the government responded by attempting to take back the money through a 90% retroactive tax on those bonuses. That didn’t work out.
Now, the government’s favorite liberal idiot, Barney Frank, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, is sponsoring the ‘Pay for Performance Act of 2009’. If enacted, this would impose government controls on the pay of ALL employees. By the way, the bail money is being called ‘capital investments’. ‘Bail out’ just sounds too negative to suit liberals.
In the twisted logic of the liberal mind, the legislation would ‘prohibit unreasonable and excessive compensation and compensation not based on performance standards’. That does include regular pay, bonuses and everything paid to employees of companies that received some money from big brother.
It does not say what is ‘reasonable’. It gives Geithner the authority to decide what pay is reasonable or excessive. http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/politics/Beyond-AIG-A-Bill-to-let-Big-Government-Set-Your-Salary-42158597.html
If the government had kept their big nose out of AIG and business in the first place, the executives would not have had any bonuses, much less bonuses paid with funds taken out of the pocket of the people they had defrauded by their unsound business practices. The liberals first sent the message of, ‘Oh, you poor babies. You misbehaved and now you are sorry. Here let big brother help you out.’ Then when AIG continued with the same spend spend spend policy, the liberals are furious.
The liberals enabled AIG to continue with their same spending policies.
Then they were furious when they actually did continue with the same policies.
Then, liberals decide further intervention is what is needed instead of getting their big noses and your wallet out of the problem.
I personally see this as an utter disaster, that would certainly work in favor of the socialist/communist mindset of ‘equitable’ instead of ‘equality’.
In a society seeking equality, policies are enacted by wise legislators that are designed to provide equal opportunity for everyone. These policies do not get into the personal abilities or determination of the individual.
Equitable is something entirely different. Equitable seeks to make everything exactly the same. No one has more or less than anyone else. No one has more opportunity or less opportunity than their neighbors. No one has more or less possessions than anyone else. To achieve equitable material possessions of a society requires that wages be equitable.
Is it fair for executives of failing businesses to receive outrageous bonuses? Of course not.
Is it fair for them to receive bonuses paid for by the tax payers? Of course not.
Does this give liberals a legitimate reason to set salaries of all employees? Of course not.
Liberals are really not interested in what is right and good. They are interested in furthering their socialist/communist agenda.

Become a Prude - You Will be Glad You Did
Are You a Prude? Well, I Should Hope So!
Does bad language and graphic movie scenes cause you to cringe, turn your head away, turn off the television, and even tell people to go wash their mouth out with soap? Are you sick of people living like animals outside the bounds of marriage, and acting like they are doing nothing wrong? Are you sick of immoral and unethical business practices being excused or even condoned because of the profit such practices generate? Then you might be a prude!
If you are a prude, then thank the Lord. Being a prude is a very good thing. If you love the things of God, and seek to do His will above all else, then you very likely are a prude who engages in prudent behavior! Yipeen and good for you!
Dictionary.reference.com gives this as the history of the word prude.
Word History: Being called a prude is rarely considered a compliment, but if we dig into the history of the word prude, we find that it has a noble past. The change for the worse took place in French. French prude first had a good sense, "wise woman," but apparently a woman could be too wise or, in the eyes of some, too observant of decorum and propriety. Thus prude took on the sense in French that was brought into English along with the word, first recorded in 1704. The French word prude was a shortened form of prude femme (earlier in Old French prode femme), a word modeled on earlier preudomme, "a man of experience and integrity." The second part of this word is, of course, homme, "man." Old French prod, meaning "wise, prudent," is from Vulgar Latin prōdis with the same sense. Prōdis in turn comes from Late Latin prōde, "advantageous," derived from the verb prōdesse, "to be good." Despite this history filled with usefulness, profit, wisdom, and integrity, prude has become a term of reproach.
In short, the word 'prude' is from ‘prudent’. The world prudent can be used like this.
It is prudent to study before a test.
It is prudent to spend cautiously.
It is prudent to eat a balanced diet and exercise.
It is prudent to invest wisely.
It is prudent to watch what you say because someone might be listening!
The word gains a negative meaning when you say something like:
It is not prudent to have babies before you get married. Never mind the problems with raising children that single parents have. Never mind the economic hardships that one parent usually causes a family. You cannot call this imprudent or you might hurt someone’s feelings.
Or,
It is not prudent to avoid religious training for children because this will make it much harder for them to come to an understanding of the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
It is not prudent to accept immoral behavior as ok just because ‘that is the way the world is now’, or some other equally ridiculous reason.
Currently the Vice President of the United States has demonstrated his gutter mouth by using the f-word in public.
People are defending him, saying that it was just an adult word in an adult situation. Then they use the overworked phrase, ‘we have more important things to worry about’.
No we don’t. There is a huge difference between ‘adult language’ and ‘gutter language’.
The f-word is so overused that a true moron could use the word in its proper context. Yet, the VP of the USA can come up with nothing better to say than that?
Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
A filthy mouth is a clue that the speaker has a filthy heart.
Immoral behavior gives us a clue that immorality is ruling the heart.
Business practices that put prophet above righteous behavior give us a clue that the business owner(s) love money more than they love God. They have gone after the error of Balaam, who encouraged the people in sin in order to gain money.
My mother in law says, ‘what’s in the well comes up in the bucket.’
What is in your heart is reflected in
what you say,
what you do in any situation,
how you treat others,
how accepting you are of immoral behavior – no matter how socially acceptable,
and everything that you do or say.
Prudish behavior is not the judgmental garbage that is portrayed in the media. To be a prude, or to be prudent, is to act wisely in all situations. That begins with being faithful to do the things Christ says to do; and, THAT begins with a cleaning the garbage out of your heart.
The prude and the vile person cannot coincide peacefully in a heart that is clean.

Are Liberals Socialists and Communists?
Are the Words ‘Socialist’ and ‘Communist’ Bad Words?
Currently liberals are insulted when they are called ‘socialist’ or ‘communist’.
The words have negative connotations or vibes that go with them.
They are associated with anything from unfair policies to totalitarian regimes.
The liberals see themselves as ‘do- gooders’ with a gift or even super natural gift for caring for the less privileged and incapable.
They feel they have the ability to decide exactly who is less privileged, who deserves more, who deserves less, who is capable of doing more, and who is incapable of doing more or making sound decisions.
They don’t want anything bad, evil, or even slightly suspect associated with the feel good policies they favor and enact.
Liberals love to project an image of substance and trustworthiness.
They see themselves as people who promote tolerance and open-mindedness.
In truth, they only support tolerance of those who agree with them; and they live on shifting sand. They preach what their itching ears want to hear, and that changes with public opinion.
It is a common tactic for liberals to simply change a label from one thing to something else when the public becomes aware of the true nature of any particular policy.
Currently, liberals are batting around replacement words for ‘the fairness doctrine’. Liberals know very well what is going on with public opinion regarding reinstating the fairness doctrine. So, their solution is not to consider the problems that go along with the fairness doctrine.
Their solution is to deceive the public by a simple name change. If they call the policy something else, it takes the public some time to figure out that they are really talking about the same thing.
Now, the liberals are enacting socialist/communist policies and programs at lightning speed. I have read that socialism is really about economics while communism is really about politics. It is actually impossible to separate the two. The policies of any government are certainly both political and economic. (duh!) Socialism is Like HIV Positive. Communism is like full blown aids.. They both spring from the same Collectivist cesspool. (A cesspool is where the ‘stuff’ goes when you flush it.)
All collectivist ideology stresses the importance of group thinking and actions above the importance of individual rights. To the collectivist, the people are here to serve the state in whatever manner the state so chooses. In truth, the state is supposed to serve and protect the people of the nation.
That is where we are today. Our leaders are marching at battle speed down the collectivist road.
They have created an economic crisis, and now they are taking full advantage of people living in fear of a full economic collapse.
It doesn’t matter if they admit they are following socialist ideology, communist ideology, or collectivist dogma. They can change the name to ‘progressive’, ‘reform’ , ‘stimulus’, ‘benevolent’, ‘generous’, and so on. They can label their actions as for the common good. They can demand that everyone get on board and do their share. They can say things like, ‘it is patriotic to pay more taxes’.
But, they can’t change the definitions of socialism, communism, and collectivism.
The current government IS both socialist and communist in its actions.
Here is what the dictionary says about socialism.
Socialism
1. a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.
That means government control and micro-management of the lives of individuals. Currently, the government is so into what you are doing that they are attempting to control what small farmers grow!
2. procedure or practice in accordance with this theory.
This is the stage of implementing socialist/communist practice in government. That is what we are seeing now.
3. (in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.
I’m afraid most of congress members are such ignoramuses that they don’t even KNOW they are going down the collectivist road. They just want to feel good and get re-elected. Obama himself has been labeled an ignoramus by none other than Hugo Chavez. We have the blind leading the blind. Unfortunately, there are some in leadership positions who are very well aware of what they are doing, and what the end result will be.
